People Strategy Leader
Culture Champion | People Strategy Expert | Hands-On Executive Leader
About the Role
Dealers Wholesale is growing — and we’re looking for a People Strategy Leader to help us build our next chapter. This role sits on the executive leadership team and owns the full people strategy, from day-to-day HR execution to shaping culture and leadership development. You'll lead and do: strategy, training, compliance, employee experience, and organizational design. This is a hands-on leadership role — a perfect fit for someone who’s energized by building and executing, not just advising.
Mission
The mission of the People Strategy Leader is to build a strong, scalable, people-first culture that directly drives business success. This role will ensure that Dealers Wholesale continues to be a place where great people do their best work, where leadership is built at every level, and where our Core Values show up in everything we do — from daily operations to long-term strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Organizational Development: Drive talent growth, performance management, and workforce planning.
- Talent Acquisition: Lead employer branding and hiring strategies that attract top talent.
- HR Management: Own compliance, compensation, policy, and daily HR administration.
- Employee Engagement: Lead communications, recognition programs, and culture-building events.
- M&A Integration: Lead cultural diligence and onboarding efforts during acquisitions.
Top Outcomes
- Maintain eNPS ≥ 70 and Best Places to Work scores ≥ 85+.
- Reduce key role time-to-fill to < 45 days; 90%+ success rate for new hires.
- Voluntary turnover among high performers < 10%.
- 100% compliance across HR, safety, and audit requirements.
- Complete cultural integration within 60 days post-acquisition.
Who You Are
- A builder and doer — you love creating strategies and executing them.
- A trusted executive leader with strong business acumen and people instincts.
- A clear communicator who can engage everyone from field teams to boardrooms.
- A culture champion who believes people are a company's ultimate advantage.
- Highly organized, action-oriented, and fully accountable for what you lead.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive HR leadership experience blending strategy and execution.
- Deep expertise in employee relations, organizational design, and culture building.
- Strong experience with PEO management, HRIS platforms, and compliance.
- M&A integration experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree required; certifications (SPHR, SHRM-SCP, coaching) a plus.
Compensation: $115-135K annually, 20-25% bonus potential
